Payment Guidelines

A complete guide to accepted payment methods, transaction security, and billing policies for your Japan E-Visa application.

Last Updated: January 2026

At evisajapan.co.uk, operated by MigraGlobal Soluciones LTD, we understand that online security is the primary concern for international travelers. When you are applying for a visa, you need to know that your financial data is handled with the highest level of encryption and integrity.

This Payment Guidelines page outlines exactly how we process your $70.00 USD service fee, the security measures we employ to protect your card details, and how to troubleshoot common payment issues.

1. Our Transparent Pricing Policy

We believe in a "No Hidden Fees" policy. Before you enter your payment details, we want you to be completely clear about what you are paying for.

  • Total Service Fee: $70.00 USD (United States Dollars).

  • What this covers: This is an all-inclusive fee covering the Government Assessment Fee (where applicable), our professional document review, photo compliance service, 24/7 support, and the final submission to the Consulate.

  • No Post-Payment Charges: We will never automatically charge your card for "subscription fees" or "monthly dues." This is a one-time transaction for a specific service.

For a detailed breakdown of the costs involved, please refer to our Visa Types and Prices page.

2. Accepted Payment Methods

We utilize a global payment gateway designed to accept transactions from over 190 countries. Whether you are applying from the Philippines, Brazil, Vietnam, or Europe, you can pay securely.

A. Credit and Debit Cards

We accept all major international cards. This is the fastest method to ensure your application is processed immediately.

  • Visa (Credit & Debit)

  • MasterCard (Credit & Debit)

  • American Express

  • Discover / Diners Club

  • Maestro

B. Cryptocurrency Payments

For clients who prefer decentralized finance or do not have access to international banking facilities, we accept select cryptocurrencies via secure processing partners.

  • Bitcoin (BTC)

  • Ethereum (ETH)

  • USDT (Tether - TRC20/ERC20)

Note: Crypto payments are non-reversible by nature. If you require a refund for a crypto transaction, it will be processed in USD equivalent or stablecoin, subject to our Refund Policy.

3. Transaction Security Standards

We take your financial safety seriously. As a UK-registered entity, we comply with strict European and International banking standards.

SSL Encryption (Secure Sockets Layer)

You will notice the padlock icon in your browser's address bar. This indicates that our entire website is secured with 256-bit SSL encryption. This ensures that the data traveling between your device and our payment gateway is unreadable to hackers.

PCI-DSS Compliance

We are fully compliant with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS).

  • Important: We DO NOT store your full credit card number or CVV code on our servers.

  • Your payment data is tokenized and processed directly by our regulated banking partners (such as Stripe or Worldpay). This means even our own staff cannot see your full card details.

3D Secure Verification (3DS)

To prevent fraud, our system supports 3D Secure technology (Verified by Visa / MasterCard SecureCode). During the transaction, your bank may ask you to verify the payment via an SMS code or banking app notification. This protects you from unauthorized use of your card.

4. Currency Conversion & Billing

Our standard billing currency is USD (United States Dollars).

  • Paying with non-USD Cards: If your credit card is issued in a different currency (e.g., PHP, VND, BRL, EUR), your bank will automatically convert the $70.00 USD amount into your local currency.

  • Exchange Rates: The conversion rate is determined by your bank, not by us. You may see a slightly different amount on your statement due to daily exchange rate fluctuations.

  • Billing Descriptor: The charge will appear on your bank statement as "MIGRAGLOBAL VISA SVC" or "JAPAN VISA SERVICE UK".

5. Troubleshooting Payment Failures

If your payment is declined, please do not panic. It is rarely due to a lack of funds. Here are the most common reasons and solutions:

1. International Restrictions: Many local bank cards are blocked for international (Cross-Border) transactions by default.

  • Solution: Call your bank or use your banking app to enable "International/Online Transactions."

2. 3D Secure Failure: If you did not receive the SMS code from your bank or entered it incorrectly.

  • Solution: Try again and ensure your phone has signal to receive the OTP (One-Time Password).

3. Incorrect Billing Address: The billing address you entered must match the address registered to your credit card.

  • Solution: Double-check the Zip/Postal code entered on the payment page.

4. Browser Cache Issues: Sometimes an old cookie can block the gateway connection.

  • Solution: Clear your browser cache or try opening the Application Page in "Incognito" or "Private" mode.

If you continue to experience issues, please contact our support team immediately via our Contact Us page. We can provide alternative payment links or bank transfer instructions for corporate clients.

6. Refund & Cancellation Transactions

We understand that plans change.

  • Eligibility: If you made a duplicate payment by mistake or wish to cancel before we have submitted your file to the Consulate, you are eligible for a refund.

  • Processing Time: Refunds are processed back to the original payment method. It typically takes 5-10 business days for the funds to appear in your account, depending on your bank's processing speed.

  • For full details on when a refund is applicable, strictly read our Refund Policy.

7. Fraud Prevention

To protect our legitimate customers, our system automatically flags suspicious transactions (e.g., using a card from one country while accessing the site from another continent via VPN).

  • If your transaction is flagged for manual review, our security team may email you to request a simple verification (such as confirming the name on the card).

  • Zero Tolerance: Any attempt to use stolen credit card data will be reported to Action Fraud UK and international police authorities, including the details of the IP address and passport data provided.
